Suburban
Publishing Corporation is the parent
company of SuburbanRealEstateNews.com real
estate print publications (West, South and
North of Boston and Maine), SuburbanRealEstateNews.com online,
the Peabody & Lynnfield Weekly News and
North Shore Golf.
In 1971, the Suburban Real Estate News North of
Boston edition was first published. Soon after,
the South and west of Boston and Maine editions
were established. In 1979, Richard H. Ayer became
President/Publisher and CEO of Suburban Publishing
Corp. Since 1971, Suburban
Real Estate News’s print editions have
provided the real estate industry with the most
widely read real estate publication in New England.
In February of 2006, Suburban Publishing Corporation added
SuburbanRealEstateNews.com to an already diverse real estate package
to complement it’s market leading print publications. Since
it's introduction, SuburbanRealEstateNews.com
has grown to provide more than 50,000 regional listings offering
in depth Multiple Listing Service information of each property.
The four print publications, now called SuburbanRealEstateNews.com,
combined with the web site facilitate selling and purchasing of
residential real estate with the most up-to-date and extensive listings
of properties for sale in Eastern Massachusetts and Maine.
In 1985, Suburban Publishing Corporation acquired
the Peabody & Lynnfield
Weekly News, which was first published in 1957.
Since then, the Peabody & Lynnfield Weekly
News has been the hometown newspaper for the communities
of Peabody and Lynnfield, Massachusetts. The Weekly
News is delivered free of charge via U.S. Mail
to more than 20,000 homes in these communities,
by request. The Weekly News provides its readers
with comprehensive coverage of local government,
school sports, institutions and people. It provides
its advertisers with unmatched readership in Peabody
and Lynnfield.
Suburban Publishing Corporation introduced North
Shore Golf magazine in 2003. The magazine
is the region's only complete source of golf
information and is published four times a year
throughout the golf season. It can be picked
up for free at any north of Boston area golf
course, both public and private, as well as driving
ranges and other selected distribution locations.
Each issue contains information and feature stories
about golf on the North Shore and has become
an essential part of the local golf season.
